We are pleased to announce that we have taken the next exciting step in our development.

From now on, we will be operating under the name “MARAIT Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH“. This name change not only reflects our many years of experience and commitment to providing first-class legal services in the field of AI & IT, but also symbolizes our pursuit of innovation and progress.

We have always been committed to providing our clients with highly specialized legal solutions in the IT sector, especially in connection with software projects, software licenses or data transfers in complex infrastructures. With our new name, we would like to underline this commitment and further strengthen our dedication to providing outstanding legal services in the field of AI & IT.

In this context, we would like to introduce you to three additional topics that have established themselves as further areas of focus for us:

Artificial Intelligence (1.), Digital Health (2.) and IT Security (3.).

  1. Artificial intelligence (AI) will change our lives dramatically in the future. Companies and organizations must already take care to comply with the legal framework when using AI, for example in the implementation of the EU AI Act, compliance with copyright law, data protection law and liability issues, as well as in the course of negotiating contracts. We are happy to advise you on all legal issues in connection with AI.
  2. Digitalization has revolutionized the healthcare industry and offers both opportunities and legal challenges. We specialize in providing legal support to companies, service providers under the German Social Code, medical practices or medical care centers (MVZ) in the field of Digital Health and helping them to make the most of the potential of this emerging industry. This includes, for example, the use of AI in everyday treatment as well as new IT security and data protection regulations in connection with the use of health data.
  3. In an increasingly digitalized world, the protection of data and systems is more important than ever. At MARAIT, we understand the importance of a robust IT Security strategy and specialize in helping companies with legal solutions to protect themselves from the ever-growing threats, especially from cyberspace. In particular, we advise on the comprehensive new EU regulations (DORA, NIS2) and the accompanying German laws.

Furthermore, despite the new name, our objective remains unchanged: We remain passionately committed to protecting our clients’ legal interests and supporting them in all legal challenges related to the use of AI & IT.
